David's commitment to preparing God’s temple is admirable. The fact that it’s Solomon that takes credit for building it. I have always thought Solomon built it all this while it was David’s plan.Although he would not build the temple himself, he carefully organized the people, resources, and leadership structures needed for the work to continue.
