Wow. A very dramatic and heartbreaking passage indeed. It’s very interesting how Amnon’s ‘love’ quickly turned to hate. It exposes it for what it was - pure lust. And as for David, the least said the better. He was angry with Amnon but his silence and inactions left so much to be desired. Did David somehow become weaker in character as he grew older?🤔
