Daniel 9 teaches us that when we see problems in society, our response should go beyond complaining, we must pray and ask God to help us become part of the change we desire. He also teaches us the importance of taking personal responsibility instead of always blaming others. We condemn corruption and dishonesty in others, yet sometimes overlook these same behaviours in ourselves. Meaningful change begins when we humble ourselves, examine our own conduct, and practise the values we expect from others. And can we talk about the audacity of Daniel in Chapter 6? There is a decree that do not petition any god nor man for 30 days🤣🤣that’s the day Bro. Daniel decided to pray in the open eeeeeei🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣it’s giving you cannot tell me what to do!! I love this!!!!!! May God help us to stand firm when our faith is questioned or restricted 🙏🏽
“Then a stone was brought and laid on the mouth of the den …” Daniel 6:17( NKJV) just took me back to the stone at the mouth of the tomb of Jesus 😬
Got me thinking 🤔 What character are we exhibiting at the place of work. Do we have integrity and are we so faithful that our colleagues, superiors and staff can be so certain that if such a policy is established, we will stand by our beliefs ? Daniel 6:4 highlights some of the key qualities to be exhibited … he was 1. Faithful 2. Always responsible (not just once in a while) 3. Completely trustworthy ( NLT)
Wahala for Daniel oo. Daniel was so good at what he does and such an upright Christian they had to use his ‘faithfulness’ as a trap against him and he did not fail. He could have died but His God is more faithful. I love how King Darius had faith. He literally went into the den speaking to Daniel. It’s as if he KNEW Daniel’s God will deliver Him. What a testimony ! Daniel 6
Daniel 6:10 stood out to me Daniel knowing he might be in dire trouble still went to kneel down before God but he did not spend one second praying for deliverance Daniel focused on giving thanks as usual. Also the King’s initial reaction stood out to me. He probably loved Daniel so much because his reaction to Daniel going against the decree was “how can I deliver him”. Bible said he was displeased with himself not with Daniel lol
