1 Kings 22:36-40 [37] I wonder if the prophets were ashamed. [38] Yes, the dogs did lick up his blood, just not where Elijah prophesied (Jezreel v the pool of Samaria.) Maybe it was because God withheld his first judgement of Ahab, because he "humbled himself" before God, but because he persisted in his evil, the chickens came home to roost.

1 Kings 22:29-35 & 2 Chronicles 18:28-34 [29] Was it because he knew that the prophecy was against Ahab only, so he tagged along out of morbid curiosity? [30] FOOLISH KING! As if his disguise would hide him from the Lord. [34] You can't cheat death. God doesn't miss!

One thing that really stood out to me was that Ahab knew Micaiah was being sarcastic when he said he should go and be victorious. Ahab knew God’s voice when he heard it. Sometimes we hear God’s voice and we ignore because it doesn’t favor us. I am learning God’s will isn’t the hard part, it is obeying it but we must be willing to hear and respond to God’s word even when it is hard

So Ahazia did not learn anything from His father Ahab’s death.?? What a shame I believe we can unlearn bad behaviour from our parents and relearn to live better lives.

1 Kings 22:10-28 & 2 Chronicles 18:9-27 [12] All of these prophets were using the name of the Lord in vain just to perpuate their own agenda. [13] These people were coddling this man! [15] Sarcasm. LOL [18] Maybe of he did good and was faithful to God then the prophecy would have been favourable. [19]"... all the host of heaven..." this encompasses all the angels even the fallen ones, I.e. the lying spirit. Lucifer and his followers still have access to the courts of heaven. [23] God gave Ahab over to the lies he followed after. [24] When people in positions of authority are threatened they respond in violence. [26] "...take him back..." Does this mean that Micaiah was brought from prison? If so, he was probably in tattered clothing, chained and most likely gaunt, but he stood ready to speak the truth, instead of co-signing the false prophecy and maybe gain his freedom.

Sometimes so many people saying the same thing don’t mean it is the truth. We should always pray to hear and do what God says than doing what the multitude wants or say. Also we should always stand by the truth and not bow to pressure because we want people to be happy with us.
