The beauty in today’s psalms is the timing and the words written, trusts in God, salvation and his earth expressed So David gave instructions to his sons like Paul did on who to avoid, who to be friends with and who to pay with what had sown, again I get convince that the NT never did anything new that saw OT through the lens of Christ.

David is trully a man after God's heart...Even in death his heart of worship is the same

i will not be the one to build...you will . and also, I will not be the one to kill them...you will...These instructions made him kill his own elder step brother. There is more to Joab being wanted dead. A man so loyal and strengthened the King, look at how the king behaved with Absalom and Sheba. Yet ordered to be killed. Hope to see what Nathan, Samuel and Gad wrote. Making someone else kill people you could not get yourself to kill was not an easy thing for me to accept. Some say "Oo i will not harm you" and in secret order "you rather go harm him"

Interesting how David still wanted to take revenge on his enemies. Even on his deathbed. What happened to letting God deal with them? Psalm 8❤️❤️❤️
