Proverbs 6 [16-19] I connected these to to some of the Ten Commandments (Exodus 20:1-17) ● haughty eyes: You shall have no other gods before me Pride places self in the place of God ● a lying tongue: You shall not bear false witness against your neighbour ● hands that shed innocent blood: You shall not murder ● a heart that devises wicked plans: You shall not covet your neighbour's house. For from within, out of the heart of man, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder,adultery, coveting, wickedness, deceit, sensual, envy, slander, pride, foolishness. (Mark 7:21-22) ● a false witness who breathes out lies. The repetition highlights the severity of deception.
