Today we read some of my Favourite verses. The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom!! Reverential fear, the desire to obey and please God at all times causes us to walk in the way of the LORD. This reminder ensures we do not sway away from the teaching and the Voice of God, it ensures we walk in wisdom always. - ⁠Guard your heart with all diligence…(4:23). What am I allowing into my heart, what am I exerting my energy thinking about? What am I dwelling on, what influences the decisions I take…. Out of my heart flows all life’s wahala. Guarding the heart could be one of the most difficult thing till it’s mastered. Extremely necessary for a child of God. The Bible talks about us being defiled not by what goes into our mouth but what comes out of the heart. May God help us to master the important art of guarding the heart 🙏🏽
