Beautiful words, expressions of gratitude, love, thanksgiving and present circumstances. Blessed be the lord for the life of David.
Reply →I wonder if we can put words together in this present dispensation. Just to pour out our vulnerability in writing, whether its thanksgiving or seeking help or justice… For me, aside the Christian spoken word..I barely such write ups these days. I hope a generation of such deep writers about God can come up again🙏🏾
Reply →Chapter 22 reads as a prophecy detailing the Crucifixion of The Messiah [1] "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" These were the exact words Jesus spoke whilst on the Cross [Mat 27:46 ; Mark 15:34] [7-8] The mocking "He trusts in God; let God deliver him now, if he desires him" [Mat 27:39-43] [14-15] The dehydration, the thirst [16] The piercing of Jesus' hands and feet. [18] The soldiers took Jesus' clothes and divided them amongst themselves [John 19:23-24] [31] ... that He has done it. Jesus' final words on the Cross were "It is finished." [ John 19:30]
Reply →The psalms are indeed a book of prayer. When we don’t know what to pray, there is most certainly a psalm that can echo our thoughts or feelings🙏🏾 No wonder God called David a man after His own heart. These psalms are so beautifully written - each carefully crafted and so rich.
Reply →The book of Psalm is so refreshing with prayers David wrote to navigate through life's situations.
