David’s sin was real, but his heart never turned to other gods. Unlike Solomon, David did not become an idol worshipper. His failures were moral, not covenantal apostasy.

Reply →Its also beautiful to see how the most of the old gospel musicians dwelt on the Psalms for their lyrics and worship to God, creating timeless music. Really admirable Psalm 30:9 I think David was trying to “gaslight” God🤭….because God has told us he can even turn stones to worship and praise him. So David should not think that dust cannot declare Gods truth But on the other hand, I really admire his confidence to declare how much he can pour his heart out and also declaring who God is
