Psalm 66 [1-4] Let everything that has breath praise the Lord! [5-9] Remember the Lord your God [10-12] The Refiner's fire. Life's issues are never meant to take you out. "That fire is not meant to burn you, it's meant to bless you. That kind of fire is not meant to kill you, it's meant to keep you in God." - Mthunzi Namba [13-15] Ascribe to the Lord all that is due to Him. [16-20] Testify of the goodness of God. Psalm 65 reads as praise and Thanksgiving unto the Lord, as David laudes the Lord for His mercy, His Sovereignty over creation, and His divine provision In Psalm 61, David warns us against the love of money, whilst affirming that dependence on God is all we need. For me it echoes the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:19-34.
