One thing that stayed with me was the life of Joash. He started well. God placed people around him who protected him,guided him, and helped him walk in the right direction. But his story reminded me that I cannot live on someone else’s faith forever. There will be a time where I have to decide for myself who I will follow and whose voice I will listen to. We need to appreciate the people God has has put in our lives but our foundation should be in God alone. May we not only start well but also continue walking with God until the end. Reflection as we go about our day will be When the voices around us change, when the people who encourage us are no longer there, will our hearts still remain faithful to God?
