1 Kings 22:1-9 & 2 Chronicles 18:1-8 So many prophets just to inflate his ego. Reminds me of the story of Balak and Balaam, cause just like Balak, Ahab suffered from itching ears (2 Timothy 4:3-4) thus he wanted nothing to do with a true prophet of God, Micaiah, who would tell it like it is.

1 Kings 21 What temper tantrum-throwing king is this?? He's behaving like someone who has never heard the word "No" before. The level of greed is astounding, much like his cowardice. Jezebel is better than me, I would have let him starve to death (jk)😂

1 Kings 20:23-43 [39-43] Reminds me of 2 Samuel 12, when Nathan prophesied against David for what he did to Bathsheba. ● The parables ● Both David and Ahab passed judgement on themselves. But unlike David, who confessed his sin and welcomed the Lord's judgement, Ahab sulked! Who knows whether if he had humbled himself, confessed and repented, God might have pardoned him and spared his life like He did David's?

Jehoshaphat represents the people of Judah very well. He wants to very much be sure of the instructions from God before proceeding. Always a good trait, aligning with the will of God

1Kings 22:8 Ahab didn’t hate Micaiah because he was a false prophet but because the guy told him the truth. Sometimes the hardest thing to do is listen to the truth from people . Do we welcome advise that makes us feel good or we are willing to hear the truth even when it is correcting us. The people who love us most are the ones who tells what we need to hear not just what we want to hear

Only one king Elijah is your old enemy and you hate another prophet but still find the humility to repent. if you are out there thinking you are to evil to come to God think Ahab

Jehosaphat asking for another prophet after 400 prophecies is peculiar. is it discernment at play?
