Isaiah 24 [2] God is not a respecter of persons. Anybody can get it. Your wealth, title or influence are nothing in the face of God and His judgement. They do not twist His arm in your favour. [5-6] Nothing just happens. A curse without cause will not stand (Proverbs 26:2) Isaiah 29 [13b] "Their worship of me is based on merely human rules they have been taught. (NIV) Today, people are tied to their denominations and care more about the rules and regulations that govern those Church buildings, and not the truth. They believe that just because there's a Crucifix hammered to the wall at the front of the room everything they do is sanctioned by the Lord.

Isaiah 25:8-9 stood out to me even though I really don’t understand Isaiah I am being reminded that the same God that judges is the same God who wipes away tears. I am being reminded again that, God’s plan isn’t destruction but there is a day is coming when suffering, death and shame will no longer have the final word. Verse 9 says surely this is our God we trusted him and he saved us.There’s something reassuring about looking back after the storm and saying this is definitely the God we trusted 😇
