Jehu was one interesting character, like why will he go all out for God in the ways he did but still refused to follow God wholeheartedly? He basically wiped out all the descendants of Ahab and Jehoram including their friends and family members because of their worship of idols, he killed every single one of them including their friends relatives that were unfortunately going to visit at the wrongest time but he (Jehu) kept one golden calf and refused to destroy it..why will he even do that!?? Also what was going through Jezebel’s mind when she saw Jehu coming and went to first fix her hair and makeup….girl you should have been running fo your life as soon as you heard that man killed your husband. Do better next time pliiizzzz😒. Also another thing that stood out to me is the relatives that went to visit…not every time hangout, sometimes stay in your house and rest [this shade for is to Edison and Co and yes I’m a hater 😒😭😪]

Jehoram completely walked away from God after starting well. His father was a good king till the end, as opposed to how he ended. The major reason for his going far away from God was because of who he married(Jezebel's daughter)The marriage made him embrace Baal worship and made him commit atrocities like even killing all his brothers. The person we marry will either draw us closer to God or pull us away from Him. Jehoram had a godly heritage, but one wrong marriage brought idolatry, bloodshed, and destruction, so also for us today let's seek God when it comes to making the choice of marriage cos a wrong spouse doesn’t just affect one but can affects your children, your home, and your entire generation
