Proverbs 21:30 was the most comforting verse for me today. Sometimes it’s easy to question whether you’re in alignment with God’s will or whether you truly heard Him correctly, especially when challenges arise. This verse is a beautiful reminder that God’s purposes cannot be overturned by human wisdom, opposition, or circumstances. Whatever He has truly ordained will stand, and that is deeply reassuring. It also reminds me of Isaiah 46:10

Proverbs 20:30 (the NIV especially) immediately drew my mind to the recent story where a pastor beat a man that had threatened to rape and kill his wife and kids. He even got arrested for this and was later released. The verse made it seem like he was very justified. It also made me wonder what could have happened to make Solomon write this.

The verse in Proverbs 20:11 also got me thinking about the deeper meaning could be. Are kids really pure?
