Psalm 107 is a reminder that "earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal." Whether you're lost [4-5], bound [10], sick [17-18], filled with fear [26] or when your abilities fail you [27], no matter the situation, there's nothing too difficult for the Lord. He is always willing and able to pull you out.
Psalms 107:23-30 reminds me of Jonah. Jonah was on a ship, a great storm came, the sailors were terrified, and eventually Jonah's situation led them to cry out to God. God then stopped the storm. Jonah was running from God, yet when the storm came, God was still sovereign over the storm. And eventually the sailors themselves cried out to God. So Psalm 107 reminds me that even when we get ourselves into trouble, God is still able to meet us there.
