Proverbs 16:7 stuck with me heavy today. I personally don’t have enemies (the goal is to see people the way God sees them) but it’s such a cool marker, maybe even a promise.

The book of Proverbs is a book that makes you self reflect, there’s always something it is pointing out to you to do better at. My read was from Prov 14 and I noted that despite the fact that Solomon comes from a rich and well sorted family, he always sto emphasizes hard work and never talks down on anyone’s Labour. He also talks about not believing everything someone says hook line and sinker …think for yourself and make the right decision. Also that sometimes we might think our plans are perfect but we should learn to take it back to God cos it might seem to be perfect but it isn’t and we need God to guide us through it.

Proverbs 14:1 says the wise woman builds her house but the foolish woman tears down her house with her hands. How we speak to people, how we react, the little things we often overlook. Whether we choose peace or hold on to anger. These things seem not much but over time they shape our homes, our relationships and even our own character. Building also takes intention. No one accidentally builds a strong home, it takes patience, wisdom, and making the right choices over and over again. When the foolish woman tears down her house, she is careless and does things in anger and bitterness. She easily does these. Now, my question for reflection is are we making the lives of people around us better ? Are we building up someone or we are tearing them down without realizing it?
