The goal is simple: to help us understand how to manage money wisely, save with discipline, grow what we earn, make better investment decisions, and find the right funding opportunities for our businesses. Many of us have questions like: How do I grow my money? Where can I invest safely? What is a fixed deposit? How does compounding work? How do I know which investments are risky? How do I avoid investment scams? How can I raise money for my business? What is the difference between grants, loans, angel investment, venture capital, and crowdfunding? How do I know which funding option is right for my business? What do investors look for before investing? This practical session will break these topics down in a simple, relatable, and actionable way. Speakers Ebenezer Kofi Sarkodie Ebenezer will speak on managing and investing your personal money. He will cover savings, financial discipline, compounding, risk levels, fixed deposits, treasury bills, and how money grows over time. Edison Ade Edison will speak on finding investment and funding for your business. He will explain the different sources of business finance, including personal funding, family and friends, grants, loans, angel investors, venture capital, strategic investors, partnerships, and crowdfunding. He will also cover how to determine the right type of funding for your business, what investors look for, how to prepare your business for investment, how to approach potential investors, and the common mistakes founders make when raising capital.
